ShockproofExpert Credit Training & Tools

Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

These terms govern your use of shockproof.com and the training content, assessments, and tools Shockproof AI, Inc. makes available through it. By using the site you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a bank, credit union, or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

What we provide

Shockproof provides commercial credit training: Learning Paths, courses, modules, case studies, assessments, whitepapers, and related tools. Some material is free, some requires a purchase or an institutional membership, and the catalog changes as curriculum is released.

Purchases, memberships, and credits

Prices shown on the site are in US dollars and may change. Memberships are sold as annual credit pools sized by institution; credits are redeemed for catalog access as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Specific commercial terms, including invoicing, renewal, and refunds, are set out in the order form or membership agreement between us and your institution, and those terms govern if they conflict with anything here.

Your licence to use the content

Subject to these terms and any applicable purchase, we grant each authorised learner a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content for their own professional training and their institution’s internal use. You may not:

  • Share, resell, sublicense, or publicly distribute the content or your access to it
  • Reproduce or adapt the material to build a competing training product
  • Use automated means to scrape, download, or bulk-copy the content
  • Remove proprietary notices, or use our name or marks without permission

Intellectual property

The content, curriculum, case studies, assessments, software, and design of this site are owned by Shockproof or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions about the curriculum or the product, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you. We will not treat feedback as confidential unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Training is education, not advice

This is the most important limitation in these terms. Shockproof content is educational. It is not legal, accounting, investment, or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for your institution’s own credit policy, underwriting standards, or regulatory obligations.

Credit decisions are yours. Nothing in the curriculum, the case studies, the assessments, or any tool output constitutes a recommendation to extend, decline, price, or grade any particular credit. Assessment scores and certificates evidence completion and understanding of our material; they are not a professional credential, a licence, or a warranty of any individual’s competence.

Tools and generated output

Some tools, including AI-assisted features such as spreading and tutoring, produce output automatically. That output may be incomplete or wrong and must be reviewed by a qualified person before it is relied on in a credit file or any other decision. You are responsible for what you do with it.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site or catalog, and we may update curriculum as regulation and practice change.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and the content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shockproof will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or credit losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the site or the content, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the content will not exceed the amount you or your institution paid us for the content giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Shockproof against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the site or the content, or your breach of these terms.

Termination

We may suspend or end access for any user or institution that breaches these terms. The sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date above tells you when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
